A. Authentication & Account Data:
We offer two methods for account creation and login:
Email and Password: If you choose to create an account directly, we collect your email address and a password.
Note on Security: Your password is never stored in plain text. It is managed by Google Firebase Authentication, which uses advanced hashing and salt techniques to ensure your credentials remain secure.
Google Authentication: If you sign in via Google, we receive your name, email address, profile picture URL, and a unique Google ID. We do not receive your Google account password.
B. Financial Data
Any data you manually enter, such as accounts, expenses,financial goals, retirement goals, spending patterns or asset values of any relevant finacial informations, is stored in our secure database to provide "Finacify" features.
C. Automatically Collected Data
Service Logs: Through Firebase, we collect device identifiers, OS versions, and crash reports (via Firebase Crashlytics) to maintain app stability.
2. Service Providers & Data Storage
Finacify is built on the Google Firebase platform. Your data is processed as follows:
Storage: All account and financial information is stored on Google Firebase Cloud Servers.
Security Standards: Firebase is compliant with major security certifications and is one of the major technology service providers.
Encryption: Data is encrypted both in transit (using HTTPS/TLS) and at rest within Google’s infrastructure.
3. How We Use Your Information
To Authenticate: To verify your identity and allow you to access your financial data across multiple devices.
To Protect: To prevent unauthorized access, detect fraud, and monitor for security threats.
To Personalize: To calculate and display your financial metrics based on the data you provide.
4. Your Rights and Data Control
Access and Correction: You can view and edit your profile or financial data within the App settings.
Account Deletion: You may request to delete your account at any time. Upon deletion, your email, password (if applicable), and all financial records will be permanently removed from our active Firebase databases.
Third-Party Access: You can revoke the App’s access to your Google Account through your Google Security Settings.
